Mille Suite Garden was born in a place that preserves a story of family and local heritage.
In the historic Via dei Mille in Noto, during the 1950s, Salvatore Scorsonelli founded an artisan distillery dedicated to the production of essential oils, with particular attention to the precious zagara essence, obtained from the blossom of bitter orange trees. The distillery stood opposite his home, in a large garden filled with jasmine, almond trees, and citrus groves, and for more than ten years it produced high-quality essences that were also destined for the master perfumers of Grasse, France.

It is precisely from those memories that Mille Suite Garden was born: a property with 6 suites surrounded by greenery, created through the renovation of a space that still preserves a deep connection with its past. Around it, a private park with citrus trees, olive trees, fruit trees, and native plants still evokes the atmosphere of that original garden, where for years people worked with the fragrances and essences of the Sicilian land.
Located about 1 km from the historic centre of Noto, reachable on foot in around 15 minutes, Mille Suite Garden brings together memory, nature, and hospitality. A place where the story of an ancient essential oils distillery lives on in a new form: a relaxing stay surrounded by greenery, just a short walk from the city’s Baroque heart.
