Noto Air Show 2026 with the Frecce Tricolori: traffic changes, parking and access for 28 June in Lido di Noto

Noto is getting ready to host one of the most anticipated events of summer 2026: the Noto Air Show 2026 – Frecce Tricolori, scheduled for Sunday, 28 June 2026, in Lido di Noto.

The event will bring a major aerial show to Noto’s seaside area, with a large turnout expected among residents, visitors and tourists. To ensure safety, public order and the proper management of the event, a special traffic, parking and access plan has been introduced.

When the Noto Air Show 2026 takes place

The Noto Air Show 2026 – Frecce Tricolori will take place on Sunday, 28 June 2026, in the seaside area of Lido di Noto, one of the most popular coastal locations in the Noto area.

The beach area will remain accessible, but entry to the event area will be regulated and limited for public order and safety reasons.

Traffic changes in Lido di Noto

During the event, changes to traffic circulation and parking will be in force.

From 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, 27 June until 7:00 a.m. on Monday, 29 June 2026, transit and parking will be prohibited, except for authorised vehicles, in the following areas:

• Viale Lido

• Piazzale Sallicano

During the same period, the unpaved parking area next to Viale Lido will not be available.

Parking areas for the Noto Air Show 2026

Several parking solutions will be available for visitors arriving in Noto for the event.

Near the event area, there will be two paid parking areas, available until full.

Two large parking areas will also be available in the city, with a shuttle bus service:

• Civil Protection area on the SS115, reserved for buses

• “Davide Casalino” car park in Contrada Zupparda, reserved for cars

Using the designated parking areas and shuttle buses will help visitors reach Lido di Noto in a more organised way, avoiding traffic congestion in the seaside area.

Limited access to Lido di Noto

For public safety reasons, access to the Noto Air Show 2026 area will be limited.

Once the maximum number of visitors allowed under current regulations has been reached, access to Lido di Noto will no longer be permitted.

Visitors are therefore advised to plan their journey in advance and take into account the traffic changes scheduled for the entire weekend.

Passes for residents, local residents and businesses

Access to the restricted area will be allowed only to:

• residents

• people domiciled in the area

• business owners

• authorised employees

Access will be granted only to those holding a valid pass.

Passes must be requested by Friday, 26 June 2026, at the Noto Municipal Police Command, in Via Nicotera 45, from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

All authorised persons are invited to reach Lido di Noto by 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, 28 June.

Visiting Noto during the Frecce Tricolori weekend

The weekend of the Noto Air Show 2026 is also an opportunity to experience Noto through its seaside, Baroque historic centre and surrounding area.

Those staying in Noto or travelling to the city for the event can plan their day by taking into account the traffic information, available parking areas and regulated access to Lido di Noto.

Visitors are advised to organise their movements carefully, use the designated parking areas and reach the event area well in advance.
