Noto Christmas 2025: Full Program, Ice Skating Rink and Funfair

Starting from 30 November 2025, the city of Noto officially opens its Christmas calendar with a rich programme of events, attractions and activities dedicated to families, children and visitors. The highlight will be the lighting of the tallest natural Christmas tree in Sicily, scheduled for Friday, 5 December at 6:00 PM in Piazza XVI Maggio.

Christmas Tree Lighting

On 5 December, Noto will experience one of the most anticipated moments of the year: the illumination of the natural Christmas tree which traditionally marks the beginning of the festive season. The event attracts residents and tourists every year and signals the official start of cultural and recreational activities throughout the city and its districts.

Ice Skating Rink

Throughout the Christmas season, the ice skating rink will be open, a now well-established attraction offering fun for both adults and children. The rink will be set up in the heart of the city and remain open every day with extended hours.

Mini Funfair and Family Activities

The Mini Luna Park also returns to the Villa Comunale, designed especially for children and young visitors. Rides, games and entertainment will enrich the family-friendly offer, making the city centre a lively and welcoming meeting point throughout December.

Shows, Exhibitions and Nativity Scenes

The “Christmas in the City 2025” programme also includes shows, themed exhibitions, nativity scene itineraries, cultural activities and initiatives spread across the various districts. The full calendar will be published by the Municipality, with continuous updates to help everyone plan their visits and participation.

An Invitation to Experience and Support the City

The City Council invites residents and visitors to enjoy the historic centre during the festive season, shop in local stores and choose Noto for holiday dinners, events and moments of conviviality. The goal is to support the local economy and strengthen the sense of community during one of the most meaningful times of the year.
