From 21 to 23 November, Noto becomes a capital of taste as it welcomes the International Street Food Festival, the largest travelling event in Italy dedicated to global street food. For three days, Viale Marconi (Villa Comunale) will turn into a real food village with food trucks, themed stands and specialties from five continents.
The event, organised in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Siracusa and under the Patronage of the Municipality of Noto – Department of Tourism, offers a continuous food and wine experience:
Friday 21: from 6:00 p.m. to midnight
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23: from 12:00 p.m. to midnight
Now in its ninth edition, the format was created by Alfredo Orofino, president of A.I.R.S. and well-known face of the Rai 2 docu-reality “Il Trono del Gusto”. The festival has become a key national event dedicated to street food and to the cultural promotion of the host cities.
The Noto edition features a wide and international selection: pulled pork, arrosticini from Abruzzo, fried pizza, bombette from Puglia, Cinta Senese burgers, paella, porchetta from Ariccia, Hungarian kürtőskalács, Argentinian and Mexican cuisine, and many other specialties. A curated selection of Italian and international craft beers will also be available.
Admission is free. The initiative is part of the city’s broader strategy to extend the tourist season, enhance the historic centre, and support the hospitality sector even during autumn months.
