Sicilian in Jazz 2026 returns to Syracuse for its twelfth edition, with a format centered on music, local identity and cultural enhancement. The festival is organized by Associazione N.O.E. – Network Of Experience with the aim of promoting Mediterranean musical and artistic culture as an expression of creativity and the identity of the Syracuse area.

The 2026 season opens on April 30 at Teatro Massimo in Syracuse, on the occasion of International Jazz Day, an event linked to the global network promoted by UNESCO. The opening concert will be Ladies in Jazz, a project that represents one of the key moments of the 2026 edition.
Sicilian in Jazz 2026 in Syracuse, an event dedicated to International Jazz Day
The concert highlights both the artistic value of jazz and the role of women within this musical language, through a program that brings together tradition, research and contemporary expression. Artistic direction is entrusted to Giuseppe Mandalari, who has curated International Jazz Day in Syracuse for twelve years, helping to strengthen its identity and continuity over time.
One of the most interesting aspects of the project is the Jazz & Wine Experience format, already reinforced by the success of the 2025 edition. In fact, the festival attracted more than 2,000 spectators, confirming a concept that connects jazz with wine, food and the places of southeastern Sicily, making the experience even more engaging and accessible to the public.
Also in 2026, Sicilian in Jazz presents itself as an event that goes beyond the concert itself: it is a story of the territory, its excellence and its ability to offer authentic cultural experiences. Among the locations and partners mentioned in the presentation are Cantina Barone Sergio, Feudo Maccari, Cantina Marilina, Cantina Giasira, Borgo del Carato, MAT Museo & Nepeta, Donna Coraly, La Barca Ortigia, Noto – Sagrato SS Salvatore and Cantina Pupillo.
