Infiorata di Noto 2025: "Peace Becomes Art" – May 16 to 2

From May 16 to 20, 2025, one of the most evocative and photographed events in Sicily returns: the Infiorata di Noto, now in its 46th edition. This year's theme is "Peace Becomes Art", a powerful and universal message that blends with the fleeting beauty of flowers.

What is the Infiorata di Noto?

The Infiorata is an artistic and cultural event that each year transforms Via Nicolaci, in the heart of Noto's historic Baroque center, into a stunning floral carpet. Each panel, approximately 6 meters long, is made entirely of flower petals, leaves, and other organic materials. It's a true open-air museum, but only for a few days.

The 2025 Edition: A Tribute to Peace

The 2025 theme, "Peace Becomes Art", stems from a desire to reflect on the value of coexistence and solidarity among peoples, in a time when peace is more necessary than ever. Floral artists from across Italy and abroad will interpret the theme through evocative images, symbolic messages, and references to the universal culture of peace.

Infiorata 2025 Program Highlights

In addition to the floral masterpieces, the Infiorata di Noto will feature:

• Guided tours of Noto’s UNESCO-listed historic center

• Artisan markets and tastings of typical Sicilian products

• The Baroque Parade on May 19, featuring historical costumes and reenactments
